On February 18th and 19th, HERSUS Consortium would like to welcome you to the first Project event dedicated to the presentation of project activities and results of the first research phase, and especially to open up discussion on enhancing heritage awareness and sustainability of the built environment in architectural and urban design higher education among different topics of interest.
The Event will provide starting background of the project and will consist of three parts: Transnational Project Meeting (M1), Multiplier Event (E1), and Learning, Teaching, Training Activity (C1) in the form of Seminar on Teaching through Design for Sustainability of the Built Environment and Heritage Awareness. Activities E1 and C1 are open to the general public, while activity M1 is planned for consortium members. This Event will be hosted by the University of Belgrade – Faculty of Architecture, supported by all participating Higher education institutions, and will be organized online via the Zoom platform.
The first Multiplier event, HERSUS Intro Presentation, is planned in the sense of dialogue meeting, bringing together associate partners of HERSUS, as well as the wider professional and academic community. Within this activity, general information about the consortium members will be provided along with the presentation of the HERSUS research aims, objectives, and intellectual outputs.
In the Seminar, seven Keynoters will give their lectures regarding the project scope within three main topics: Reconstruct, Reuse, and Resilience, while representatives from five consortium schools will present specific teaching methodologies. The main objective for organising “Seminar on Teaching through design for Sustainability of the Built Environment and Heritage Awareness” for academic staff, students, and professionals is reflected in need to (1) exchange different professional expertise, methodologies, and approaches between the partner organisations, and (2) discuss the direction of their development and implementation in the following project activities and existing study programs.
The Event’s registration details and agenda will be available in the following days on the HERSUS website.
