E4: HERSUS Prize on Modern Heritage – Ceremony 

On 11 May 2023, in the framework of the USE HERSUS Event series, the Award Ceremony for HERSUS Prize on Modern Heritage is realized. The Award Ceremony was opened by Dr. D. Ramón Pico Valimaña director of the University of Seville, School of Architecture (Escuela Técnica Superior de Arquitectura de Sevilla – ETSA) who provided welcome note for Ceremony attendees and express great appreciation both for the HERSUS initiative and HERSUS Prize. The welcome note was followed by Coordinator note performed by Dr. Aleksandra Milovanović on behalf of the University of Belgrade, Faculty of Architecture (as HERSUS Manager for Dissemination and Communication) who briefly introduced HERSUS project and put HERSUS Prize in project context. Finally, Dr. Mar Loren-Méndez, Chair of HERSUS Prize on Modern Heritage (USE Project Manager and Scientific Coordinator, Chairholder UNESCO Chair CREhAR) introduced the scope and categories of HERSUS Prize and explained Jury approach for each category.
